uniFLOW 2025v3 – New Printer App supporting the Windows Modern Print Platform

With uniFLOW’s previous major version, basic support was added, allowing users to print using the Windows Modern Print platform. This provides a modern and secure method of printing without relying on legacy V3/V4 drivers. With uniFLOW 2025v3, a brand new uniFLOW Printer app is introduced, delivering a modern, secure, and user-friendly print experience for all users while adhering to the latest Microsoft security guidelines. For hybrid setups, management of groups has been simplified, reducing administrative overhead.

User-friendly print experience using the uniFLOW Printer App

Users no longer need to rely on the basic user interface of the Microsoft IPP Class Driver. The new app offers a convenient user interface for print settings, supports full finishing options, including various stapling and hole punch options, and integrates seamlessly into the Windows print workflow. It’s available for download from the Microsoft Store. Users can access it directly through standard print settings or via printing preferences.

The new uniFLOW Printer app enables users to print securely and consistently from PCs, regardless of their architecture. It supports ARM PCs and PCs with Windows Protected Print Mode enabled.

The uniFLOW Printer App is directly installed via the uniFLOW server or downloadable from the Microsoft Store.

Simplified group management in hybrid setups

Cloud technology is transforming how businesses work thanks to its superior enterprise platform security, scalability, and resilience. However, sometimes, a uniFLOW on-site server might still be required. By combining on-premise uniFLOW server technology with uniFLOW Online, customers can have the best of both worlds. This latest release greatly extends the uniFLOW server's hybrid capabilities by adding group synchronization methods. Previously managed independently, groups can now be synchronized across both systems.

By managing users and groups from a single system, organizations can prevent data conflicts, keep group data accurate, and reduce administrative overhead.
