How it works
Users can register with any email address through a quick three-step process. Once registered, a uniFLOW SmartClient pop-up prompts them to enter their email or card number to confirm their identity. Submitted print jobs are held securely and can be released at the printer using a unique PIN code.
IT-friendly features
This solution requires minimal administrative effort and supports both Windows and Mac® platforms. Public print users can be automatically assigned to a designated department, such as “Public Print,” enabling accurate reporting and usage tracking.
Third-party print service integration made simple
uniFLOW Online enables the implementation of secure printing for Windows and Chrome OS by integrating directly with Microsoft Universal Print and supporting Chromebook printing. IT teams benefit from reduced infrastructure, centralized policy enforcement, and a consistent user experience.
Delegate print jobs
uniFLOW Online enables users to delegate print jobs to colleagues, making it an ideal solution for remote work scenarios, team collaboration, or administrative support. Whether manually or automatically, print jobs can be securely transferred to another user’s queue for release.
Manual delegation is simple: users select one or more jobs from their queue and choose a recipient. The delegated user receives an email notification and can release the job from their own secure queue. All delegated jobs are tracked and charged to the original sender.
For automated workflows, administrators can configure delegation rules so that all submitted jobs are instantly visible to designated users or groups. This setup is perfect for project teams or assistants who regularly print on behalf of others. Users are notified when delegation settings change, and an optional end date can be applied.

uniFLOW Online empowers organizations to print and scan documents directly from leading cloud storage platforms, without the need for additional software or devices. Users simply authenticate at a Canon multifunction device to access their files instantly.

Supported providers include Google Drive™, Microsoft OneDrive and OneDrive for Business, Dropbox, Box, and Evernote®. For enterprise collaboration, uniFLOW Online also connects with Microsoft Teams and Microsoft SharePoint Online. Additionally, HOME-BOX2 is available for users in Japan.
