DEVICE MANAGEMENT

Improve control and increase efficieny.

Stay in control wherever your devices are

uniFLOW Online provides IT teams with a centralized, cloud-based platform for monitoring, managing, and supporting multifunction device fleets across distributed environments. Designed for Zero Trust architectures and hybrid workplaces, it simplifies fleet administration while strengthening operational resilience.

Real-time support from anywhere

uniFLOW Online enables IT helpdesks and service providers to remotely access device interfaces, even in Zero Trust environments.

Key capabilities at a glance
  • Access Remote UI or Local UI via VNC or Canon Remote Operation Viewer
  • Secure, encrypted outbound connection via SSH tunnel
  • Up to two simultaneous connections per tenant
  • Automatic disconnection after 20 minutes
  • Clear audit trail showing connection initiator

Remote support reduces downtime, eliminates the need for on-site staff or VPN access, and ensures efficient troubleshooting across all locations.

Available for supported Canon imageFORCE, imageRUNNER ADVANCE, and imageRUNNER devices with a Cloud Print & Scan/Cloud Image Processing subscription.

Comprehensive device monitoring

Gain complete visibility into your device fleet, regardless of model or location.

  • Real-time dashboards surface device health, operational status, and usage patterns.
  • Customizable widgets highlight key performance metrics such as uptime, error states, and print volumes.
  • Automated meter collection for Canon devices ensures accurate reporting without manual effort.

All information is consolidated within a single, intuitive interface, enabling IT teams to identify issues faster, improve service levels, and maintain consistent device availability.

Agentless device data collection

uniFLOW Online provides agentless device data collection, sending status and usage information directly to the cloud through Universal Login Manager applets. Because it relies on outbound-only communication, this approach is ideal for Zero Trust environments where inbound connections are restricted. Data automatically appears in widgets such as “Device status overview”, “Device list”, and “Device volumes”. If a device goes offline, it simply updates again once it reconnects, no adjustments or reconfigurations required.

Meter readings for Canon partners

Canon and authorized partners can automatically receive Canon device meter readings, including “total”, “full‑color”, and “black” counters. These readings are delivered directly to the parent tenant’s root administrator, providing accurate insights into customer print usage and supporting efficient managed print services, billing, and contract management.

Visibility and intelligence

In today’s distributed, Zero Trust–aligned environments, IT teams need more than basic monitoring; they need real‑time intelligence that keeps the device fleet reliable, secure, and cost‑efficient. uniFLOW Online delivers this visibility through proactive alerts and powerful usage analytics.

01

Stay informed and prevent downtime.

  • Receive automatic email alerts for device errors, consumable shortages, and other critical events
  • Address issues immediately to avoid workflow disruption and reduce end-user frustration

Proactive notifications help IT teams maintain device availability and streamline incident response.

02

Make data-driven decisions with transparent reporting.

  • Detailed analytics reveal actual running costs, device utilization patterns, and inefficiencies

  • Export CSV reports manually or schedule automated exports to cloud services for integration with BI tools

By providing accurate usage insights, uniFLOW Online enables smarter budgeting and fleet optimization.

Secure MEAP applet updates

Keeping MEAP applets up to date is critical for compliance and security. uniFLOW Online streamlines this process with secure, one-click updates and automated policy-based updates.

One-click update process

Updating MEAP applets is fast and secure:

  • A simple, single-button update for all uniFLOW Online MEAP applications on a device
  • Devices display user notifications during updates and remain protected throughout the process
  • Update applets can be deployed via Device Setup Utility (DSU) or the Local User Interface (LUI)

This reduces administrative overhead while ensuring devices stay compliant and secure.

Policy-based update automation

Standardize MEAP versions at scale.

  • Define “Device Application Policies” to automatically enforce updates for all MEAP devices in a location
  • Up to ten policies per tenant can be configured, each with assigned devices and alert recipients
  • Policies run every 24 hours, or administrators can trigger evaluations manually

This ensures consistent application versions and simplifies compliance management; no manual updates are required.

  • Supporting IT teams with automation

  • Centralize device management across all locations.
  • Automate routine maintenance tasks and updates.
  • Strengthen security with Zero Trust–aligned design.
  • Reduce downtime through remote access and proactive alerts.
  • Optimize costs with accurate and transparent reporting.
