Secure access to your multifunction devices (MFDs) is essential for preventing data breaches and maintaining compliance. With uniFLOW Online, users must be physically present at a device to authenticate, release print jobs, or access scan profiles, ensuring document security and eliminating the risk of sensitive information being left in output trays.

Image login with optional PIN
Mobile login is especially convenient, as most users carry their phones. The NT-ware mobile apps enable secure access without a physical card. The login screen also supports self-service features such as re-sending the PIN and one-time PIN options.
Simple and secure card registration
Organizations can use existing access cards (e.g., door entry cards) for device login. Administrators can import card numbers directly into uniFLOW Online or enable self-registration. Users simply swipe their card, enter a registration code or PIN, and the card is instantly linked to their account.
Touchless print job release
After successful identification, users can release all print jobs or cancel the action. If no interaction occurs, jobs auto-release after five seconds – saving time and reducing physical contact with the device, ideal for busy environments and hygiene-conscious workplaces.

uniFLOW Online integrates seamlessly with your existing identity providers, offering secure and scalable authentication without storing user credentials. Instead of managing its own identity system, uniFLOW Online uses a claims-based model that accepts credentials from trusted providers like:
- Microsoft Office 365
- Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)
- OpenID Connect (e.g., Auth0, Okta, OneLogin™, Ping Identity®)
- Shared web identities (e.g., Microsoft, Google™, Yahoo!®)
This ensures users can log in using the same credentials they use across your IT ecosystem.
Simple login for non-privileged users
New users can sign in via a one-time email link, eliminating the need to remember complex usernames or passwords. This method is ideal for non-privileged users and is the default for new tenants.
Automatic sync with Active Directory
When connected to your local Active Directory, uniFLOW Online automatically updates password changes, new user additions, and role modifications. This keeps identity management aligned with your internal systems, without manual effort.

Unlike many cloud-based solutions, uniFLOW Online ensures continued device access even during network outages. When operating in emergency mode, users can still log in and perform essential tasks such as printing from local spool files or accessing stored documents.
