Expanding the device support in uniFLOW Online
Starting from April 01, 2026, the HP embedded applet will be available to uniFLOW Online customers in Europe and the USA, expanding the software’s previous support for Canon, Lexmark™, and Sharp to include yet another important brand. HP devices can now be fully integrated into uniFLOW Online environments, whether in a pure HP or mixed fleet, offering a consistent, modern user interface and print experience for all users.
The HP embedded applet offers a wide set of features, including
- User identification and card registration
- Secure print release (My Print Anywhere)
- Mobile and guest printing
- Usage tracking
- Device-based Scan to Myself
Like the other embedded applets, it is designed to work reliably in Zero Trust environments. Users can print using the uniFLOW Universal Driver, providing a single driver for a mixed fleet of e.g. HP and Canon devices. Alternatively, users can print using uniFLOW Online’s Virtual Printer App, which allows them to print securely via the Windows Modern Print Platform and thus adhere to the latest Microsoft security guidelines. Thanks to the uniFLOW Online Virtual Printer app, printing from ARM PCs to HP devices is also enabled.
