Fleet-wide MEAP application updates at scale
Managing MEAP applets across a large device fleet has historically been complex, particularly in Zero Trust environments where remote updates are restricted. Building on the previous release’s one‑button update for individual devices, uniFLOW Online 2026.1 introduces the experimental “Device Application Policy” extension, bringing centralized, automated bulk updates to MEAP‑compatible imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX and imagePRESS devices.
Devices are continuously evaluated and automatically brought to the desired state, with update waves intelligently distributed to ensure stable operations across the fleet.

Restrict and manage access granularly
The release adds two device access policies that improve control over how users interact with devices: device login restrictions, which specify which users or groups may log in, and control over access to the uniFLOW Online secure print queue.

“With uniFLOW Online 2026.1, we’re removing complexity from everyday device and print management,” said Lex-Jan Westra, Marketing Director at NT-ware. “Organizations gain more control, more automation, and more flexibility, allowing IT teams to focus on strategic work while the platform handles the rest. This release marks an important step in making secure cloud-based device management effortless at scale.”
